Famous Actress Aranmula Ponnamma mostly known to people as Screan mother Passes away on 21st Feb. She was admitted to private hospital. Aranmula Ponnamma was at 96 when she leave this world.
Aranmula Ponnamma was playing role of mother of many Malayalam Actors from decade. she played mother role so perfectly that she was popularly known as Screan Mother.
Aranmula Ponnamma was been living with her Grand daughter who is wife of Super star Gopi.
Aranmula Ponnamma begin her carrer as a music teacher and at the age of 29 she start her acting career.
Her first Movie was Sashidharan in 1950 and in in 1997 she acted in her last movie Janathiyapathiyam.
For the movie ‘Kathapurushan’ (1995) directed by Adoor Gopalakrishnan she recieved state and national award.
