There would be a complete 48 hours bandh in all 10 Telangana districts on February 22nd & 23rd. The Telangana Joint Action Committee has declared a two-day Telangana bandh call today.
The Union government has made it clear that a Telangana bill will not be placed in the upcoming budget session of Parliament, the Telangana joint action committee (JAC) gave a call for 48-hour bandh from Tuesday morning, in protest demonstrations all over Telangana as part of non-cooperation movement on Saturday.
JAC chairman M. Kodandaram announce in a press conference that the bandh call would apply to all government offices, schools, colleges, buses, trains and even private companies. All cinema halls in the Telangana region, including Hyderabad will not screen films for two days on February 22 and 23.
Also, there will be no shootings on these two days and all studios, laboratories and distribution officers will participate in the bandh. The multiplexes in the city will also not screen movies.
